Calling All Romantics: Boux Avenue Unveils Rococo Romance

As the seasons begin to shift, fashion embraces romance once again. The Autumn/Winter 2026 catwalks saw a resurgence of feminine dressing, where corsetry, delicate lace, satin bows and powder-soft pastels brought a renewed sense of softness and refinement, with romance emerging as one of the season's defining themes.

Launching this August, Boux Avenue, the British accessible luxury lingerie, swimwear and nightwear label, unveils Rococo Romance, a collection inspired by feminine flourishing of artistry, elegance and opulence of the C18th Rococo movement. Blending a Marie Antoinette influence with Boux’s contemporary obsession with fit, comfort and support, the collection celebrates refined craftsmanship, sculpted silhouettes and considered detailing, offering a refined interpretation of the season's romantic mood.

Inspired by a visit to the Louvre's Rococo exhibition, Boux Avenue's design team looked to the era's decadent artistry and ornate craftsmanship, reinterpreting its rich heritage through a contemporary lens to create a collection that feels both timeless and desirable.

Intricate lace, delicate floral embroidery, satin bows and softly sculpted silhouettes define Rococo Romance, where heritage-inspired detailing meets modern lingerie design. Corsetry-inspired construction and sheer layers bring structure and softness in equal measure, creating a collection that feels both elegant and contemporary.

Sharing the inspiration behind Rococo Romance, Zoe Price-Smith, Chief Design & Product Officer at Boux Avenue, said:

"Romantic dressing continues to inspire fashion this season, and we wanted to bring that mood into lingerie in a way that felt contemporary rather than costume. The Rococo movement provided the perfect starting point, with its intricate craftsmanship, soft femininity and decorative detailing."

At the heart of the collection is the Delilah Embroidered Balconette Bra, £42 in light blue, the campaign's standout style and the purest expression of the Rococo trend. Beautifully detailed with delicate floral embroidery and corsetry-inspired caging, Delilah perfectly captures the collection's romantic spirit, while the matching Delilah Floral Embroidered Mesh Babydoll, £48 offers an equally elegant interpretation for nightwear.

Elsewhere, the collection continues its celebration of decorative dressing through beautifully crafted hero pieces. The Camille Embroidered Balconette, £46 arrives in an elegant arctic blue adorned with intricate floral embroidery, while the bestselling Billie Balconette £34 returns in a fresh new Arctic Blue colourway. The Annabella Sheer Balconette £38 is available in both light blue and light pink, and combines delicate sheer fabrics with an inner sling for exceptional support, while the Faye Spot Mesh Balconette, £40 in buttermilk and the Zoe Embroidered Balconette, £46 continue the collection's soft, romantic mood with feminine embroidery and delicate finishing touches. For fuller busts, the Antoinette DD-H Embroidered Bra, £46 in steel blue ensures the Rococo aesthetic is available without compromising on fit or support.

The romantic mood extends seamlessly into nightwear, where fluid satin silhouettes and delicate detailing continue the Rococo story. Highlights include the Carly Satin Halter Cami Set £44 and matching Halter Teddy, £44 in buttermilk, alongside the luxurious Kaya Satin Cami Set £40 and Chemise £36 in blue mix, offering an elevated take on modern glamour.

Reflecting on the design process, Boux Avenue’s Chief Design & Product Officer Zoe  Price-Smith continues:

“Every detail has been carefully considered, from intricate embroideries and satin bows to softly sculpted silhouettes and corsetry-inspired elements. The result is a collection that feels refined yet wearable, balancing timeless femininity with the comfort, confidence and exceptional fit that define Boux Avenue.“

Launching in a palette of buttery yellows, powder blues and soft blush tones, Rococo Romance is the first of four Rococo-inspired colour stories to arrive throughout Autumn/Winter 2026. Beginning with a softer, romantic palette before evolving into richer, more decadent hues later in the season, the collection establishes the design direction that will underpin Boux Avenue's fashion lingerie collections across Autumn/Winter 2026.

The Rococo Romance collection launches from 17th August and will be available online at bouxavenue.com and in selected Boux Avenue stores. Available in UK sizes 6–18 and lingerie sizes 30B–40H, with prices starting from £16.
